We went into the 2008 Legislative Session knowing that it would be difficult. Due to several factors our state revenue was less than it’s been in years past. As a result, we knew we would be faced with the challenge of creating a budget in a low-revenue year.
I am pleased to say that, despite these hurdles, we were able to pass a balanced budget that addresses a number of important issues to you and your family. In just a few days I will post on this site a comprehensive run-down of all the highlights, hits and misses from the 2008 Legislative Session. Please check back soon.
