Looking over the picturesque waterfront or walking along our inviting beaches, it's easy to remember why we've made Pinellas County our home.

Dennis has spent more than four decades in our beautiful community, learning early the importance of preserving Pinellas' natural treasures. (The picture of the young man you see is Dennis — much younger — enjoying yet another day at the beach. Just don't ask him where that flat stomach went!)

Dennis pursued a career in public service to protect the natural beauty that attracts so many people, like his family and maybe yours, to our community. This is why, as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, he sponsored the state's most comprehensive beach preservation law.

Dennis is working in the Florida Senate to insure Pinellas' beauty will be here for future generations. As we face important decisions for our state's future, he hopes to strike a balance between progress and environmental preservation.
